New Curriculum Implementation Support

Learning Network Educational Services is proud of the partnerships we have built with the school authorities in our region. As part of these partnerships, we want to do all we can to ensure each and every stakeholder in our region has the tools and skills they require to effectively, efficiently and without undue stress, implement the new curriculum as it becomes available. The following resources have been created by Learning Network and ARPDC staff to support the needs of Alberta teachers and leaders to implement new curriculum in a way that fosters engagement and promotes deep learning for all students.

We’re here to support you with a variety of exceptional professional learning opportunities that promote collaboration, reinforce effective instructional practices and build knowledge of the new curriculum.

ARPDC Resources

Colleagues across ARPDC have been collaborating to create high quality professional learning opportunities that can be accessed asynchronously to provide that perfect support, just when you need it. The ARPDC New Curriculum page is full of resources targeted to support the implementation of English Language Arts and Literature, Mathematics, and Physical Education and Wellness.

Learning Network Resources

Learning Network staff have been collaborating with school division leadership to design professional learning opportunities tailored to individual systems’ needs. This schedule will provide you with a list of sessions planned for our region.

In addition to our live sessions, Learning Network has created a Curriculum Implementation Resources area on the LNES Resources page that will house recordings of previous sessions, as well as resources that teachers can use in their planning, teaching, and assessment of the new curriculum.
