The 60s Scoop refers to the policy driven forcible removal of First Nations and Métis children from homes from the 1950s to the 1980s. This webinar will provide educators with an overview of historical and current insights as well as the impacts the “scoop” has had on Indigenous children, parents, families and communities.

This learning opportunity is being offered through a grant from Alberta Education.
