About the Session

How can we inclusively and collaboratively plan for and respond to the diversity in today’s educational environments? Join Northern Lights Public Schools as we gather for a full day of collaboration with Shelley Moore. A day to define inclusive practice, investigate frameworks & strategies and develop further capacity to reduce barriers within our learning environments for ALL students. The emphasis will be on collaborating with your individual school teams to define and understand your collective beliefs on inclusion, which will enhance your current inclusive practices.

This learning opportunity is being offered through a grant from Alberta Education.

About the Presenter

Shelley Moore

Based in Vancouver, B.C., Shelley Moore consults locally, provincially and beyond. Her interactive presentations integrate theory and effective practices of inclusion, special education & curriculum. She completed an undergraduate degree in Special Education at the University of Alberta, her Masters at Simon Fraser University, and is currently a SSHRC funded PhD Scholar at the University of British Columbia.
