Kits have been developed to address the integration of FNMI understandings and culture into existing curriculums for Social Studies, Science and Mathematics for Grades K-12. The kits are only a starting point! They are living documents that are meant to be added to over time. School Jurisdictions involved in kit building are asked to also commit to ongoing development of materials and the sharing of these resources. March 26 will be designated as a "kit building day" and March 27 will be dedicated to connecting the kits to curriculum. Every effort will be made, to have materials specific to each grade level for your binders.

March 26 will be designated as a "kit building day" and March 27 will be dedicated to connecting the kits to curriculum. Dr. Diana Steinhauer will be in attendance on the second day to lead the conversations on Treaties and the connection to the previously assembled kits.  Every effort will be made, to have materials specific to each grade level for your binders.

***Once all materials are ordered and we know a cost, we will invoice each participating district for each kit built, per subject. The cost of a complete set of kits for K to High School for a specific subject can range from $260.00 - $980.00.*

This learning opportunity is being offered through a grant from Alberta Education.
