Marylou Gammans
Marylou has been a proponent of French language learning since the inception of programs in Western Canada in the early 1970’s, first as a student, and later as a teacher in Alberta. Currently supporting teachers in all three streams of French in Alberta schools, Marylou continues to share her passion for multilingual learning by supporting teachers with the assistance and resources that are at times a challenge to locate in a minority language environment.
She facilitates professional learning across the province and has in-depth experience helping teachers view the curriculum in new ways, keeping a lens on authentic engagement for students.
