TARGET AUDIENCE: GRADE 10-12 SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND
This workshop focuses on showing teachers how to use the Social Studies Program of Studies to construct effective multiple-choice questions for Social Studies. The emphasis of this session is on the application of item development principles to formative and summative assessment activities in the classroom. Participants will review supplementary materials including a quick-reference summary of effective item building principles.

Participants should have a copy of a current assessment tool that they wish to “polish”, as wellas any additional texts they would like to develop for use in their classrooms.
