Learning Opportunities

Come and explore the important role you play in your child’s achievement even if you don’t speak the language! This webinar for parents is designed to clarify the importance of their child continuing in French Immersion, how they can encourage and motivate their child at home, as well as highlighting the key role they play in their child’s success. 

During the session we will look at a brief history of French Immersion in Canada, the importance of multiple languages in learning, as well as view a variety of resources and strategies that you could use at home to encourage and support your child’s learning. You will also have an opportunity to discuss thoughts or concerns in small breakout groups. Covid-19 will not prevent us from engaging in lively communication and developing deeper connections with our children, our students and our communities.
