About the Session

There is research that states that if a French Immersion teacher is going to leave teaching the program, it is likely to happen in the first 5 years of their career. The role of the principal is key in supporting the retention of new FI teachers. During this workshop we will address the following key topics:

  • Supporting French Immersion Teacher Professional Growth plans
  • Professional learning opportunities for FI teachers
  • Practical day to day supports

This learning opportunity is being subsidized through funding from Alberta Education.
