TARGET AUDIENCE: GRADES 4-12 SECOND LANGUAGE TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of the Neurolinguistic Approach and its place in the context of Second Language Classrooms.  More and more Second Language teachers have adopted the winning strategies of the Neurolinguistic Approach. What are the fundamental principles of the approach? How do we create classroom conditions that help improve students' oral skills as well as their confidence in their second language?  Founded by Claude Germain and Joan Netten, two Canadian researchers, the ANL is in action on every continent of the world from school to university level, primarily in core French programs, but its success has spread to other second language and bilingual programs (German, Spanish, Madarin, Ukranian, etc.).  In this introductory workshop, learn why the ANL is transforming the pedagogy of Second Language teachers around the world.
