Learning Opportunities

As of September 1, 2020, the Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia, came under the College of Alberta School Superintendents as their Governance and Employer body. As a result of this change, the Learning Network Educational Services Board of Directors was dissolved effective this same date. One of the expectations, set forth by CASS, is that each consortia region will establish an advisory body to inform its work and to gather information regarding regional capacity to meet regional professional learning needs. It is the intent of the Learning Network Educational Services to continue in the same collaborative nature, through the L.N.E.S. Regional Stakeholder Engagement Committee. This is the second of three meetings. This committee serves in an advisory capacity only and is intended to provide insight and feedback in relation to what is happening in the educational realm of our region and to identify current and future needs that can be met through the Learning Network Educational Services and a collaborative model for our region..
