We believe in teachers and know that a well equipped and thoughtful approach yields the most learning. Through this audit process, teachers will: Assess their physical spaces, Ealuate their practices, Build connections with each other, Discuss best practices with colleagues, Revise and revisit their long-held ideas, Engage in deep discussion, Learn about new developing strategies and ideas in the international field of education, Gain insight on how to be more inclusive, welcoming, equitable and anti-biased in their classrooms . . . and more? Educators who have participated in this audit process testify that there were many takeaways for them and confirm that they feel better equipped with ideas and information to make necessary changes. This process is ultimately about students and their communities. How are we helping to build a solid anti-biased foundation that will equip our young children to lead in the future? What kind of society will these young people create for the generations after them? Let's take advantage of our important role in their lives to ensure that their visions are antiracist and inclusive ones!

This learning opportunity is being offered through a grant from Alberta Education.
