This learning opportunity is designed for teachers that are considering embarking on the journey to becoming a certified school administrator. Join us for information and conversation on what qualities and skills are required to be an Administrator and Leader of Learning in a school. Discussions will cover characteristics of a lead learner, instructional leadership and accountability of school administrators in Alberta.

Cora Ostermeier
Cora Ostermeier is the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Learning with Holy Family Catholic Regional Division and represents CASS Zone 1 on the NRLC Regional Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
Sandra Ciurysek
Sandra Ciurysek, the Executive Director for the Northwest Regional Learning Consortium (NRLC). She holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Sandra is a former elementary school principal, and high school English teacher. She has taught various subjects from K-12, led the student services department of K-6 school and has a passion for education. She is experienced in delivering adult learning, teacher professional development and is an advocate for lifelong learning. Sandra is a longtime resident of the Peace Country and lives in Berwyn, Alberta.
